MacLeod Scotland – Wholesale Returns Policy
At MacLeod Scotland, we take pride in supplying quality merchandise, and we guarantee our products are free from manufacturing defects.
Please read the policy below carefully before returning any goods.
1. Returns Eligibility (Wholesale Orders)
We will accept returns for assessment where:
- An item arrives damaged or defective, or
- An item is found to be defective in workmanship or materials within 60 days, with normal wear (excluding fading or stains)
All returns must be approved prior to being sent back.

2. Important: Store Credit Only (No Refunds)
MacLeod Scotland wholesale returns are eligible for STORE CREDIT ONLY.
We do not provide cash refunds or refunds back to the original payment method.
If your return is approved and accepted, you will receive:
✅ Store credit issued to your wholesale account (or via a credit note)
3. Items Not Covered / Not Accepted
The following are not considered manufacturing faults and are not eligible for return:
Colour Variations
Colour shade variations can occur during the dyeing process.
We cannot guarantee colour shades will match previous shipments.
Fading / Moisture Stains
Exposure to light (sun) or moisture (water or sweat) may cause fading or discolouration.
This is not considered a manufacturing defect; therefore no warranty applies.
Altered / Branded / Embellished Products
No exchange or store credit will be offered on any hats that have been:
- altered
- re-branded
- embellished
- relabelled
Even if it is established the wrong goods were supplied.
Final Sale Items
All products marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange due to:
- change of mind
- incorrect ordering
4. Checking Your Order
Please ensure all parcels received are checked immediately upon arrival.
It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm:
- the order is correct
- styles/colours/sizes/quantities match the invoice
Returns will be declined if goods have been re-branded or altered prior to checking.
5. Return Conditions
Before you can return your items, you must receive an RA# from our admin team, which you will need to clearly mark on the returned carton and invoice
- Items without a RA# will not be processed
- All items must be returned in a cardboard box; please use the box the product was shipped to you in
- Any items returned in a satchel, will be deemed unsellable and no store credit will be issued.
All returned items must be:
- in the same condition they were received
- clean and free from fuzz/lint, human or pet hair, dirt, or foreign substances
- returned in the original shipping box where possible
Please include:
- a copy of the invoice relating to the goods
- a note explaining the reason for return
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Original postage is not refundable
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or shipping insurance.
MacLeod Scotland is not responsible for lost or unreceived return parcels.
7. Restocking Fee (Wholesale Returns)
Approved returns are subject to a restocking fee:
- $30.00 + GST for orders of 30 caps or less, or
- $1.00 + GST per cap for orders of 31 caps or more
(Restocking fees cover inspection, repackaging, and re-stocking.)
8. Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected, your store credit will be issued within 7 business days (if approved).

10. Claiming your credit
Your store credit will be issued against your business account.
To use your store credit login to the Macleod Scotland B2b portal.
- Select your caps or workwear and add them to your cart
- At Checkout: see Step 4: Payment Method
- If you have a store credit it will be visible under the payment method of Bank Transfer and Cin 7 Pay
- Select Credit and press yes when the warning box pops up.
- Confirm your order and an invoice will be issued to you.
- Upon receiving the invoice your store credit will be applied, and you can make payment via Bank Transfer or Cin 7 Pay
